Admission

The most important factor in admission is the student's desire to be a part of the Howard Gardner community.

Admission is limited, however, to those students we feel will most benefit from The Howard Gardner School's program, and who can contribute to the school community. For this reason, admission is based on an interview with the student, an interview with the student's parents or guardian, results of a recent standardized test, and a personal recommendation.

Students who have a diagnosed learning disability, AD/HD, or other special needs may be asked to submit a psycho-educational assessment so that we may be sure that we can meet the student's needs.
